Looks like something is still wrong with Esther…
Isabelle Fuhrman, who broke out in Hollywood as the lead of the disturbing 2009 hit Orphan, will reprise her role in the upcoming prequel to the film.
William Brent Bell (The Boy, The Devil Inside) is already shooting Orphan: First Kill in Winnipeg.
In Orphan: First Kill, written by David Coggeshall, Leena Klammer orchestrates a brilliant escape from an Estonian psychiatric facility and travels to America by impersonating the missing daughter of a wealthy family. But Leena’s new life as “Esther” comes with an unexpected wrinkle and pits her against a mother who will protect her family at any cost.
In order to help Fuhrman bring her character to life again, filmmakers are utilizing a combination of forced perspective shooting and a world-class makeup team.
Julia Stiles (The Bourne Identity, 10 Things I Hate About You) is also joining the cast of Orphan: First Kill, produced by Entertainment One and Dark Castle Entertainment.
Prorom will release Orphan: First Kill in Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia.
